Tracka Engages Zuru Emirates, Kebbi state

October 27, 2017

A town hall meeting was organized by Zuru Emirate Youths Association in collaboration with BudgIT through its Tracka platform to sensitize residents of Zuru Emirate on the FG 2017 Constituency projects.

As part of its budget implementation monitoring objectives, Tracka set out to Komo Town Hall of Zuru Emirate in Kebbi State. The indigenes of the community primarily engage in farming, animal husbandry and hunting. Endowed with a young, vibrant workforce and vast land mass, it is unfortunate to observe the failure of the government to provide infrastructure in the community, resulting in substandard living.

A town hall meeting was organized by Zuru Emirate Youths Association in collaboration with BudgIT’s Tracka platform to sensitize residents of Zuru Emirate on the Federal Government 2017 Constituency projects on the 21st of October 2017.

Tracka Lead, Damen Ilevbaoje shared the list of constituency projects under their senatorial district to the indigenes present at the meeting. The team enlightened the people of Zuru Emirate on the purposes of Tracka, shared the aim of the Town Hall meeting with the People of Zuru Emirate and highlighted Constituency projects tracked in 2016. The team informed the residents of the successful projects that were completed in the 2016 constituency project through the engagement they had with the community and charged members of the community not to relent in demanding for what rightfully belongs to their community.

Questions were asked by the residents of Zuru Emirate and answers were provided accordingly by tracka representatives.
